Easier to show you than explain. Just watch the video of my kids using it the day it arrived in the mail. We were very excited about it until they used it. Its not slippery. After taking the video we tried using dish-soap to really make it slippery and that worked a little better, but not enough to keep my kids interested. Last year I used a roll of painter's plastic from the home depot and that actually worked 100% better and was about 10% of the cost.
