Unit needed to be exchanged.
First, I do not hate this, very weird wording from Amazon.
Anyway, this unit also had the auger rubbing against the screen causing plastic particles to mix with the juice which rendered the juicer useless for me.
Besides that I find that the $10 charge for each warranty claim after 1 year taints the 15 year warranty
and yes the warranty is part of a product review and a reason why I and I am sure others bought this.
The other thing I am not so sure about is how much the whole attachment moves sideways,
by eye I would say an 1/8" in each direction at the end where the pulp comes out.
But this could be because the auger had a runout which also causes the rubbing.
On the positive side the unit is quite and the pulp is pretty dry.
The 30 min. max run is okay for two person but if you juice for several days ahead for more people you might have to take breaks.
I will update this when I get a proper functioning unit and used it for a while.
UPDATE: I posted some comments but they might overlooked, so here it goes.
I returned the 3. juicer because of the same issue, to me it looks like a design defect because the auger axle is just a size or two to small to fit properly into the mount at the motor so it has play in every direction.
If I could give zero points I would because plastic shavings in my food are not acceptable to me.
I hope they fix that because otherwise I like the juicer.
UPDATE: I contacted Amazon and Omega via email about this but I got no response.
