Do not use this seat! I have been using it to ride with my two year old who is 28 pounds. We ride less than two miles a day for school drop off. When I went to load her, the whole thing collapsed. A sharp sudden break in the mounting bar would have pitched her straight to the pavement in traffic. I thank my lucky stars that I was home in my driveway when it happened. I have done research and I am not the only one to have experienced this. I am calling my friends that I recommended this seat to originally and telling them what happened. This could have been a terrible, terrible accident for us. This is a critical design flaw and should be recalled. There was no warning. It just fell away.
