This device pairs with my Android phone, but I do not know whether it works... because, well, all I know is that it pairs with my phone. Another issue is that I used Torque Pro for this device to scan for codes from my car. My car has a maintenance light on, but although the BAFX device is paired, Torque app doesn't show any codes. So, I am not sure where the problem lies. Recently, I googled the topic, and it turns out that most inexpensive OBD2 scanners (usually made in China, like this one) have inconsistent performance with phones, especially iPhones and Apple products. So I finally decided to buy a much more expensive OBD2 scanner with direct wired plugin.
