This mattress pad seems about average. It has a little more loft to it than others, but that's about it. It doesn't seem to make any change to how warm/cool my mattress is. It does add a small amount of firmness to my gel foam topper, which is not what I wanted, but it isn't enough to make much of a difference. It does a decent job of covering my 14" thick mattress/topper. I'm updating this from three stars to one star because I got a message tonight from the seller offering me $50 "refund" and asking me to change my review. Well, this is the change. If I'm offered money to change my review, I find it unethical and reprehensible!
