Increased Heart Rate . This drug is dangerous to some cats. We tried it on two of our cats, one is 23 pounds and 10 years old, he only had a mild behavior reaction. Our other long haired black cat 2 years old had serious behavioral and respiratory issues. We watched the cats behavior closely as we have never tried this drug before. Within minutes our cat Papi was acting strangely, breathing rapidly, sitting still on the sewing machine, then Lept four feet suddenly and dug his claws into me and sprung off me and jumped at the door, and jumped up the door again, then sprinted around the house like a rabid animal. The fleas die quickly, or at least leap off the cat, you can actually see the fleas jump off the cat, makes you wonder if it repels fleas so quickly how awful it must be inside your cat. I did not like what happened to our cat, I think he may have been much sicker than we realized. Also this does not kill flea eggs, just gets fleas to jump, off the cat. If you love your pets like I assume you do, I would not recommend this product to anyone until further studies are done to the harm on animals. It is a risky treatment and it’s not fun to see what it does to your loved fur baby.
