Bought this vacuum to replace a 1990's Kenmore canister vacuum I'd had for years (it finally died). New vacuum.. It's heaver and just as noisy as the one it replaced. The whole all-in-one floor thing - GIANT PITB to remove and then to re-attach floor attachment to the power head. Floor attachment is really thick and does not fit under much of anything. Power head is extremely hard to push over carpet, unless it's on the "high" setting, and then you are never sure if it's really cleaning or not. Swivel also makes it way more difficult to vacuum than it should be. Overall - I am NOT happy with this vacuum. If I'd gone to a store and actually tried this vacuum before I bought it, I never would have.
