I absolutely have to like the main characters. The story begins with the main character in a long-term relationship with a married man. She returns home after many years when a relative is incapacitated. Soon after arriving she has sex with a slimy ex...oh, yeah, he's also married. The sort of "good guy" makes a play for her and she turns him down. It was one of those books I didn't care if they all fell in the ocean. The story was somewhat entertaining but just couldn't overcome the characters.
