Bought this back in July. Seemed to work fine for a few months. Now it will give readings anywhere from 100% to as low as 35% within a few seconds. A couple weeks after I tested positive for covid it would give me various readings. Sometimes it would read 98%. Sometimes it would be in the low 90s or high 80s. This of course concerned me. But after trying it again it would settle in around 95% or higher. I was just at my doctor today and my oxygen saturation was 98%. Which is consistent with what it was there 3 weeks ago. Which was 97%. I cannot trust the accuracy of this. My 14 year old son just used it several times. It gave a different reading each time. The last one he got was 76%. It was at that point I decided it was junk and threw it in the trash. If you are buying this for a piece of mind if you have covid or are worried about it, avoid this one. It may give you a correct reading. But it may also give you inaccurate and low readings sending you into a panic.
