I was so excited to receive this toaster, but it is completely disappointing. I first tried toasting at level 3. It had a nice color, but it didn't toast one side. I thought maybe the bagel function was turned on accidentally, so I tried it again. Same thing. Then I tried it with the bagel function, just in case these features got swapped. The bagel function did not toast either side. I then toasted at a 3.5 and it was lighter than a 3. I made a chart so you can see how the levels toasted for me. Needless to say this is going back. Not sure I want to chance having another not work.
