Not the same model I was expecting
It turns out Logitech actually sells two versions of the M705. On their website they claim both are “basically the same,” but the new version is lacking some functions. First of all, it feels cheaper. It’s just not as solid. Second, it does not have the same hidden thumb button.
It’d be nice if Logitech was honest about what they were selling. The new m705 is cheaper and is missing functionality that the previous version had. It should have a different model number or at least be more up front about the missing functionality.
