Some background: My husband and I both need headsets (earpieces for work). We've been buying Plantronics since the days when headsets were wired to the phone. We are accustomed to replacing the sets every 18-24 months without a whimper of complaint despite the price tag. I just bought this one for my husband. We were very disappointed to find the magnetic recharging clasp - an accessory from his prior Plantronics Voyager - doesn't work. I also tried it in my Voyager recharging case and that doesn't work either. This old trick of making you buy every accessory each time you replace the headset (or phone or whatever it is) infuriates me. So I am making it part of my review: does the product maintain backward compatibility? The resounding answer is NO!
