Spoilers... This was such a ridiculous and frustrating read. The main character is treated like crap by everyone but her father. The "hero" stole her song and got famous off of it, then proceeded to sleep with hundreds of women, do heroin, and caused an accident where he killed a pregnant woman AND her 4yrs son. In the meantime, the "heroine" randomly reappears in his life many years later and accepts $350k to manage him because she wants revenge. She needs the money to help care for her father, who is suffering from dementia and needs full-time care. She left school to have him live with her because she feels he needs something constant in his life. Anyway, even knowing this she leaves him with a neighbor and goes on tour with the hero. The one rule in her contract is that she can't sleep with him - easy, right?! - because she hates him. Well no think again. She starts sleeping with him even after he hooks up with countless girls in her presence; and after he managed to handcuff her to her bed like the idiot that she is. Suddenly she can't resist him and even follows him to Europe (meanwhile the sick dad who she likes so much that she's abandoned AND risked losing every cent of that money she's promised) is still home with the neighbor). She gets fired, shocker, but then they fall in love and he's there for her when her dad dies. Both characters are selfish and totally unlikable. I never usually write reviews, but I am annoyed that I wasted my time thinking this might get better...when I should have stopped reading early on.
