Here's a tip to know how fresh roasted beans are: draw the air out of the bag thru the one way valve until the bag is tight around the beans. Freshly roasted beans will continue to outgas and the bag will "loosen" around the beans. These did not. Attached is the bag of dark roast beans that arrived 5 days ago, I removed the air then, and it's still the same, no outgas at all. Stale beans. Also, I ordered all 3, Dark, Medium and Light roast; I opened the medium roast first (after a day with no outgas) and tried it, it was dark roasted and not very good. Similarly the next day tried the light roast, also not fresh, but tasted a bit better, I would call it medium roast, not light, slight amount of oil showing on the beans. Overall not a good experience.
