I'm a licensed professional engineer (PE) who has designed thermal and fire protection systems for over 3 decades. As a result, I think that I'm able to evaluate what constitutes a "dangerous product" in terms of fire hazards in the home. Amazon, I'm watching too see if you pull this review. If so, it's going to straight to my state AG and the USDOJ. This Amazon product is a fire hazard in the worst way. You can see that mine heated to over 240F on a cold, tile floor. Imagine what it could heat up to insulated between two cushions on a living room sofa. I have no doubt that this product has already caused fires. There's a manufacturing or design defect that is causing an internal short. Do not buy!!!
