I have been on an endless hunt for old style.. meaning 100% cotton denim jeans. I mean, how hard could that be, right? Well, let me tell you I have a garden full of four-leaf clovers and a herd of unicorns that were easier to find than non-stretchy jeans. I’ll admit, I’m old and have been wearing jeans since I was a kid and borrowing my brother’s since there were none available for girls so I know that kind of jeans did exist. When was it decided that women need jeans that are like leggings.. and why didn’t I get a vote? I’ve spent a lot of money on various Levi style types and sadly, I have yet to find my jeans. I really wanted to like these, and from the reviews, I had high hopes, but when I received them, they were just another iteration of stretch. Arrrgh! I mean, really?? I even bought the dark color since they seemed to have a higher cotton percentage, but they are thin and just creepy feeling… oh.. and stretchy.. did I mention stretchy?? So.. if you have no fond memories of 100% cotton denim jeans, these may be just what you are looking for, but my hunt continues and Goodwill will get another pair of brand new leggings.. I mean jeans.
