The Tomorrow War is astonishingly bad. So sorry to see Chris Pratt take the money to do this thing. Its horrid and the cast was simply setup to meet someone racial quota besides. No talent required: only skin colour is used here. Last year The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences set a quota for black and minority actors that must be meet in casting before they would consider any movie for their award and to be recognized. This is the results of that decree. Just plain sadness for all is had here. This a type of trade restriction / quota where a government or organization imposes a limit on the number or the value of a product or actor is based on someones hate or quilt factor. Chris Pratt in many scenes in this movie is the white in the completed scene. His character is mostly flat and submissive and defer to the black leaders and authority around him. Of course these actors have little or no talent or any real screen presents to them. Boring character, silly script, directorial duties of Chris McKay is (I find) dreadful and maybe as low as the kids movie he did 'The Lego Batman Movie': oh boy! Edge of Tomorrow (marketed as Live Die Repeat (2014)) with Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt was such a better and superior movie, I simply cringe at the time wasted watching 'The Tomorrow War'.
