It would cut solidly on the side where the motor is and not cut on the other. I tried a layer of cardstock to use as a shim and it still wouldn't cut. Updated: 8/20/17 - There is a sticker on the bottom with a notice that the warranty is voided if opened. Since the product was no longer covered under warranty, I decided to take it apart to see why it wasn't cutting evenly. I've attached a photo of the frame that holds the rollers and there is a crack on side of the frame where it wasn't cutting. I'm not sure if the metal "shims", at the end of the frame where there's a crack, are for support. I've been a crafter for many years and I know how to use this product.
