I don't normally write reviews but I hope this may help others. I first bought this product as a smaller bottle, 65 softgels, 350 mg, exp date 05/2018. It was a great small clear gel with ABSOLTUELY NO ODOR. So I purchased the larger 130 softgels size, exp date 10/2017. When I opened the bottle the fishy smell was overwhelming. I don't like fish which is one of the reasons I take this product. I tried to take one but it even tasted like fish. The first batch had a vanilla flavor and was pleasant. The good softgels were translucent while the bad smelling gels were matte finish and more round. I contacted the company who claimed it was due to storage at high temperatures. They were very responsive and I am returning the bad smelling product and they are sending me coupons to purchase new bottles. Buyer beware that smelly softgels are a possibility based on storage condions.
