Unfortunately I was really looking forward to this chair. Everyone I know that has one, loves it. Theirs are slightly different, plastic arms instead of wood, so a different model perhaps. I am not sure if that’s the problem. But the first chair I received broke and left my behind in the sand the first time I used it. I got it exchanged and the first time I took the replacement out on the beach, today, the arm is crooked and the chair position kept slipping. Probably because the arm is crooked. I am so disappointed. Especially since I paid so much more for the chair than the retail price for it at Costco. They were simply sold out and I chose to purchase on Amazon. I wish I had waited... this chair is awful.... I have struck out with it twice now. I do not have the energy or the time to deal with replacing it, AGAIN.... just very bad quality. Did Tommy Bahama send Amazon the ones that didn’t pass inspection?? I really thought their stuff would be a better quality. And now that I have received two that don’t work, I feel Amazon should do the work to make it right, not me. I need it sooner than they can get it to me. So I guess I hang the broken chair up in the garage and go back to my Nautica chair that I have had for three years now.
