I wish I would have taken note of more of the 1 star reviews then I did the 5 star reviews. At first, I LOVED this printer, but then, I ran out of ink. So I popped open a package of the AMAZON RECOMMENDED 273 ink that I purchased along side of it (3 boxes), and low and behold, I get a message that the EPSON BRAND cartridge was not recognized. So I then purchased 3 boxes of generic 410 refills, and AGAIN got the message about not being recognized... The ONLY ink that you can refill it with, is the very expensive Epson 410 ink. The price of the ink ran me almost as much as the price of the printer. Since I NEEDED the ink, I bought some, but I will be looking for another brand printer/copier. Never again will I buy an Epson. It's not because the quality of the printer is lacking, but because of their unethical practice of non competitive ink refills for their printers. DO NOT BUY THIS OR ANY OTHER EPSON EVER!!!
