Does a good job of sharpening, but if you value the finish on your nice blades, try something else. The Worksharp puts nasty scratches along the blade (guides + metal dust = scratches). You can mitigate this by covering the blade with blue painter's tape, but the Worksharp folks neglect to mention this. I guess they figure that ruining a blade or two builds character. Shame on Ken Onion for putting his name on this thing. I'd bet money that he wouldn't allow anyone to sharpen one of his custom blades with this thing before it shipped to a customer. Mine is going back to Amazon.
