After only four months mounted on the windshield of my new Tahoe, the slimy, sticky mess that is the gel adhesive began to melt and slide and slime all over the place! You can see that from the photos. I've just finished 3 hours using all kinds of different chemicals to try and get the residue and the slime off my interior windshield and portions of the dashboard. unfortunately my windshield still has a mess on it that I'll be trying to clean apparently for several more days. If you need WD-40, followed by glass cleaner, followed by other chemicals to return your car to normal after removing a portable device, then you clearly have a poorly manufactured and designed product. Don't let this miserable thing slime your car. Oh... and for the record, it actually worked really well the first month or two before it started sliding around with its melting gel.
