Cardboard packaging advertises "Leakproof" but CAUSES leaks (x2)
Purchased this 40-cup box as well as the 29-cup box to store pantry foods, but read another review that claimed the boxes weren't airtight. So the first thing I did after receiving my package, was filling the box with a few cups of water and seeing if it leaked.
BOTH of my boxes leaked. But the WTF moment was that the CAUSE of the leak was damage (a pinched blue gasket) due to manufacturer product advertising cardboard wedged in the corner of the box -- on which is printed "Airtight - Leakproof"
.... seriously? Both of my boxes have leaks caused by unnecessary advertisements about how leakproof the box is?
Just to be safe, I also took the gaskets off, cleaned them, and re-inserted them. Still leaked. Both boxes.

I posted a photo of the leak in the customer photos section, and I'm promptly returning both leaky boxes. Furthermore, one of my boxes had a hairline crack on one of the closure tabs before I even filled it up, leading me to believe that the tabs aren't really sturdy either.
