Interlocking pieces do not "lock" well at all. These began fraying almost immediately, and after less than 2 week's use looks pretty beat. When I purchased this, it was described as "thick" "durable" and for "heavy use". But the first line of the product description now that I am reviewing this item indicates that it is a "Yoga and Pilates Mat..." So, very misleading. And at most I'm doing intervals of 30-60 seconds of jumping jacks and burpees. Even with yoga and pilates you can't have the pieces moving all over the place after disconnecting like they are doing.
