The negative reviews are unfortunately accurate
We really wanted to like this product, but after less than a week of gentle use, the white paint began to *bubble* on the surface of the kettle. The kettle worked well, but given the other reviews, it seems this is a defect of the paint/design of this product. We had to return it this morning.
