The product info claims that each cartridge is good for 240 pages, but in my experience (having gone through 3 or 4 of them), it's probably 100 at most, maybe 75. A complete rip-off almost to the point of consumer fraud. I would strongly advise against buying an HP printer that requires this ink cartridge - we had an older printer for many years that used a different cartridge, and we were replacing it maybe three time a year. This one lasts a month under our standard use. Also, you might notice that it is frequently out of stock, which makes me think this is a systemic problem - they can't make them fast enough to keep up with normal printer usage by their customers.
