See Update At Bottom! I love that this product has no filter. I bought this specifically to keep our real Christmas tree fresh. This picture I'm attaching is not edited in any way, and we've had our tree up for a month by now. It is just as green as when we got it, and I'm certain that is thanks in part to the humidifier. There is an adjustable knob that you can use to adjust how much humidity is coming out. I've found that a full tank lasts about 24 hours with the knob set to the middle range. I also love the essential oil tray on this product. I've been sick with a head cold the last few days, and I've moved the humidifier to my room and used the essential oil tray to add Eucalyptus oil, which is basically what Vicks is, and it has been helping my congestion so much! Update 7 months later: product no longer works. Bummer!! I used it constantly for a month and a half around Christmas and it did great. After that, I only used it occasionally as needed for congestion and colds. It’s been less than a year and it doesn’t work anymore. The last time I used it (a month ago) the motor made a very loud noise if I turned the knob on too quickly. I turned it off and on several times slowly and that fixed it. I totally forgot about that until now, trying to set it up for bedtime while sick with an awful head cold, and...turn it on and no vapor. The light comes in and the motor is clearly on (although not as strong as it should sound even at Max). And yes there’s fresh water in it.
