110% FAKE!
I am an avid ugg wearer. I know real vs fake. The second I opened the box, I knew these were fake. Not only does the word UGG not have the R trademark logo, it doesn't look right and one isn't centered. Second, the stitching is all wonky. Third, the inside serial number tag is completely wrong. It's nothing like the old or the new serial tags. I contacted ugg and confirmed they were fake. However, ugg did tell me the tag with the model number did have a real model number on it, the serial number was never registered or assigned by UGG US. Now, there is a company called UGG but they are not actual UGGs. These boots are still not those. These boots are made to throw off someone who doesn't normally or has never owned real UGG boots. A first time buyer would believe These are real and not have a clue. They aren't nearly as comfortable as real UGGs either. When I contacted UGG and showed them pictures, they told me to request a refund and do not send the boots back, as Amazon would try to sell them again. They told me to tell Amazon I needed a refund and I'd send them proof of the boots destroyed. Amazon refused to acknowledge they were fake, even after asking me for proof from UGG. They told me they would not give me a refund, and told me to get a refund from UGG. UGG isn't going togive a refund because someone is selling counterfeit boots. I ended up having to dispute the charge, I contacted UGG and told them I disputed the charge, they asked me to send them the boots so they could see them with their own eyes. They have had numerous complaints of fakes being sold on Amazon. They are trying to block Amazon from selling their brand as this is a problem. Most name brand stuff from Amazon is either fake [very good fakes] or factory defects. If you buy Timberland boots from Amazon, they are destroyed with a few months. If you buy them from Timberland directly, they last more then a year. Amazon sells name brands like UGG, Timberland, Bearpaw, MK, Coach, etc. at a lower price then any other retailer does. How can they make any profit if they are selling them for wholesale price?
