i bought this 2 years ago and my cats and I loved it, that is untill when I picked it up to clean it today i noticed where the plug cord plugs into the pump cord my carpet was burnt and melted and there was smoke damage to my wall. it terrifies me to think it got so hot that my carprt burnt, what if it had caught on fire? what if it had happened while i was at work and my cats died and all my belongings went down in ash? 'oh well you had it for 2 years, its old.' you may be thinking. If its old it should break, stop working not try and burn my house down. I wish the picture came out better, the carpet is much darker where it was burnt.
