I liked the story itself, but the author felt the need to be woke. Minus three stars for me having to translate made up genders into real genders. One of the many party is a girl in Utah that apparently identifies as a girl because the author felt like introducing unnecessary bs. For the rest of the book I had to figure out who the author was talking about as the girl is constantly referred to as he. Dumb and unnecessary appeal to .1% of the population that makes up even less of the demographic reading these books. Way to ruin a good thing.
