I ordered the blue-case version of the 10/2017 "All-New Fire HD 10 Tablet" for $150 and a SanDisk Ultra 200GB Micro SD card for $79.95 (SanDisk Ultra 200GB Micro SDXC Memory Card (SDSDQUAN-200G-G4A)). I just got it today, charged it, and set it up. I purchased this because the internal storage is "expandable by up to 256 GB (using the microSD slot)." I read a lot of comics and I wanted the big screen and the expandable storage to do just that. I even went with the 32 GB internal storage because of the microSD slot (instead of the 64 GB). Something is wrong with the microSD slot. I loaded up the Micro SD card with my Humble Bundle and Comixology comics, bought a $2.99 app to read them with on the Amazon App Store, and I attempted to insert my $79.95 microSD card into the microSD slot. It proceeded to slip into the slot. ALL THE WAY INTO THE SLOT AND INTO THE KINDLE FIRE TABLET. Deep inside it. The Kindle does not recognize that it is inside it (because it isn't connected to anything... it is just floating somewhere in the Kindle Fire HD!). There is no eject button. There isn't any spring-loaded push-it-and-it-pops-out type deal. And I can't see my card anywhere inside the microSD slot. It looks like the card slipped through some gap that was in the Kindle adjacent to the microSD slot. I don't know if Amazon will get my $79.95 card out for me or not at this point. I am about to contact Costumer Service. But I wanted to warn everyone to be really careful with the microSD slot.
