My one star review is for this edition of the movie, not the movie itself. The movie itself is a masterpiece. However... This edition claims to be widescreen. It is, to a point. Instead of small black bars at the top and bottom of the screen to make up for the difference between 2.35 aspect ratio and the 16x9 (approx 1.78 aspect ratio) of my TV, the movie is "locked" in a 4x3 (1.33 aspect ratio of old tube TVs) box, with the 2.35 aspect ratio movie playing within that. This ends up putting HUGE black bars on all four sides of the picture. I can't believe that no one at 20th Century Fox has released a version of this movie that shows up correctly on (now standard) 16x9 TVs!
