I would have giving this 0 stars but amazon doesn't do that. Where do I start? I spent months doing research on every single pool cleaner you could think of. This is a serious purchase for a single income family. So after doing the research I trusted buying this from amazon, from the dealer they have for these. (Backyard Pool Superstore). BIG MISTAKE! I received Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus Automatic Robotic Pool Cleaner in late May. Put it in the pool once or 2x a week for about 3 weeks. I noticed that the rubber tracks kept coming off its line. I wasn't sure if the cleaner was able to finish its job or if when that happened it shut off. Its not too difficult to put them back in position but its just a huge pain in the butt taking that thing out everytime to do so! Then i noticed in late June, i would turn on the power, it would run for about 3 seconds then shut off. After researching possible problems , hair in the propeller etc. (Im bald, my wife doesnt go in the pool) i quickly found out that I would have to send it back to the manufacturer because the problem was likely serious. I've used this a handful of times!! I was outraged, I requested to send it back but the seller from amazon (backyard pool superstore) told me that it was 31 days since i purchased it and basically told me to pound sand. 31 days! 1 day over their ridiculous return policy! Its very interesting the product failed right after 30 days. I thought that Amazon would fight for their customer here since i give them about as much business as any 1 person could. They did not help me. I'm left with a $800 pool cleaner that does not work. I've reached out to Maytronics, they haven't returned my inquires. This whole thing has kept me up at night, I'm sick over it. Be very careful when buying these from Amazon, be sure not to buy from the same seller i did, Backyard Pool Superstore, they wont stand by their product, and were very unhelpful to boot. I suggest buying from local pool stores, they may charge more money but most do any repairs for free for life! At least you wont be like me, beat for $800 with nothing to show for it.
