I've had this mat for almost 16 months and it is cracking and breaking more everyday in the areas where my chair wheels frequently sit. The cracking started about three months ago and has gotten progressively worse to the point now that when I roll my chair over the mat, the cracks get larger or pieces of the mat simply break off. I weigh 215 lbs., so I'm certainly not an overly large guy. This mat is definitely not designed to be a long-term use product. I have attempted to get a new mat through Floortex's warranty replacement program. I filled out their one-page warranty claim sheet and included a copy of my Amazon receipt and pictures of the entire mat. They approved my request for warranty replacement within about 24 hours. Up to this point, all was going well. Here's the bad news -- the shipping and handling fee that you're required to pay in order for them to send you a new mat ($22.00 as of this writing) can only be paid via an electronic bank transfer (they give you their routing number and account number) or by mailing a check to their office outside Nashville, TN. I'm sorry, it's 2015. Floortex should be able to accept credit and debit card payments for crying out loud! They should just charge $25 for the warranty replacement, allow it to be paid with credit/debit cards, give the credit card company their 2.25-4% cut, and Floortex could make a little money, too.
