This is a great pan and I loved using it for 5 years. However after regular use the pan's no stick surface started to wear. I was going to use the LIFETIME WARRANTY as I have used with my calphalon pans. Filled out the Swiss Diamond warranty info and received this note back: "The darkening of your pan's surface indicates the pan was damaged through overheating. Overheating Swiss Diamond cookware VOIDS THE LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY. Unfortunately, this damage is irreversible and requires the purchase of new cookware." There is no way I misused the pan. So Don't buy the pan if you are counting on the warranty to be honored by the company.
