None of the other reviewers mentioned whether they washed these legwarmers. Perhaps they wrote their positive reviews before they washed them. Since I have sensitive skin I always wash clothing before wearing it. Alas, the material sheds like crazy - all over everything else. OK, so you could wash them in the sink, alone. However, the fibers would still come out for they are not fully "looped" and so are not of lasting construction. Definitely an item to stay away from!
