I have been a loyal Lumē user for well over three years. I loved it so much that I would tell others about it and they would buy as well. Then something changed. I saw the new packaging but was glad to see the “new look, same great scent” tag on the advertising. Well, I’m here to tell you it is NOT the same great scent. Others have commented that it smells like vomit. They are right. But I would add that it smells like sour vomit. Like you just took one too many shots of tequila and wayyyyyy over did it on the lime bites and then tossed your cookies. EVERY scent has this weird sour vomit scent. I contacted the company and later found out through research that they went from a naturally derived mandalic acid(from almonds) to a laboratory manufactured mandalic acid. When I contacted them they stated that most people find the scent dissipates with time- Uh, no it doesn’t. I don’t know who “most people” are but they are lying. So here I am, thinking I’ve found the perfect product to champion only to have it and the company let me down. I’m sad.
