I had ordered these shelves in the past from this supplier, and they were exactly as described. I recently ordered 2 more and received a much less sturdy version. The description should be adjusted as the new units do not hold anywhere near 500. The shelves actually bent as I was assembling the unit. I asked if I could reorder the correct shelves which are much sturdier and I was told I could either put lighter stuff on the shelves and keep them at a small discount, or go somewhere else to order.
