I ordered two boxes (the same page, amazon alerted me to this fact) in 2011 and early 2012, and they were beautiful. I just ordered a box (Jan. 2013) and discovered the company, without any warning, has decided to replace the wooden bar with a plastic one. If you are buying these for the aesthetics of having all matching cherry wood in your closet, do not buy these. If you are buying these because you dislike pastic, do not buy these. I am really disappointed in both amazon and Honey-Can-Do. It's extremely disingenuous to have a picture of an all wooden hanger, keep the same product page open as when the item was an all wooden hanger, and not mention this drastic (and cheap looking) change. As a repeat customer, I'm extremely irate. I shop amazon to find what I like and then just reorder what I like. Convenient, no hassle, delivery to door. If the item is no longer available, I don't mind doing a few extra clicks until I find a new favorite in whatever category. I only took the time to write this because nothing irritates me more than when I thought I've fulfilled a need only to have to discover the item isn't as described, at all entirely due to false and deceptive advertising, then have to go through the hassle of returning it.
