BRAND NEW HP Envy 5500 arrived DEAD ON ARRIVAL. I have used HP printers for more years than I'd like to admit and have watched in dismay as the quality has plummeted year by year. I finally give up. My BRAND NEW HP Envy 5500 arrived DEAD. From very first power-on all it will do is show the error message in the photo: "GETTING ERROR CODE 0X00829C98 HW WATCHDOG C". There is nothing useful in the support forums except to unplug and replug. I've power cycled it at least 50 times and no change. This is coming right back, HP. 😡
