I really love this microwave popcorn popper! I've ordered this along with a bag of Amish Country Popcorn to try it out. When it was delivered to my doorstep, I immediately tried it out. After cleaning the product to get rid of the new silicone smell, I poured kernels up to one of the measurement lines, placed the lid in the bowl, then put Batch #1 in my Kenmore model #721.80033700 microwave. Batch #1 was just plain kernels with no oils or anything. It took around 3-4 minutes for the majority of the kernels to pop. The popcorn turned out perfectly fine, with no burning or scorching. I poured the batch in a bowl and returned the popper in the microwave to pop the remaining kernels. Batch #2 was kernels plus olive oil (1-2 tsp as per instructions). Same 3-4 minutes and same results. No burnt popcorn or clumps. Batch #3 was kernels plus avocado oil. Same perfect results. So far, the Popco popper was completely fine. There was no scorch marks or any weird burnt smells, even with the oils. Cleaning was easy, simply hand wash it or place it in the dishwasher. I believe that it was the combination of this peculiar microwave and a good product is what gave me good results. I recommend this product, though I hope your microwave will work well with it if you do purchase it.
