Question the Validity and Accuracy
I highly question the validity and accuracy of the dog dna tests in general. We adopted a shelter dog and thought it would be interesting to find out what mix of breeds she might have. The first test result (from a dna dog test company also available on Amazon) completely surprised us, particularly when they said she has 1/4 Great Dane in her. She is a small to medium sized dog of 45 lbs and shows no Great Dane features at all. But hey it was possible she still had those genes, but just not visually showing up. So for the heck of it, we decided to do another test with DNA My Dog. To our total surprise there were NO MATCHING BREEDS between the two dog DNA tests!! Not one breed was similar between the two tests!!! That is why I highly question the validity and accuracy of the tests. Something is totally out of whack. As far as I can tell, you are wasting your money on these tests.
