👎👎💩 Hot garbage
It's like 20% remake of the original and 80% generic jumpscare-fest.
The dialogue between the kids was so bad. Some parts they talk so fast that you can't even tell what they are saying if you don't have subtitles on. I was thinking to myself "was the director even on set when they filmed these dialogue scenes?" It was so sloppy.
Seems like they were more focused on the CGI and jumpscares than actually making a substantive film.
The movie was about 30 minutes too long---padded with more jumpscares.
And the clown was terrible. Cringey even.
I can't believe this film is rated higher than the original...that is staggering. I guess the intelligence of the average horror movies fan has dropped significantly.
To top it all off the hint at the end that there will be sequels to this movie....😆 what a joke!
