I had another electric kettle for the past few years, but it finally broke and I wanted to try something new. There are a lot of things I liked about this kettle. The temperature knob is easy to use and it heats water quickly. But, here's why it gets one star -- it stopped working after three months. I purchased the kettle in May and it quit working in July. Furthermore, my experience with the Oxo customer service was less than stellar.
