I bought 2 bottles of this trusting that Burt's Bees would have a good product. I clean my yorkies eyes daily, so I was surprised when she started shaking and blinking. So I put a tiny drop in my own eye and within seconds the burning was horrific! I was so mad at the possibility of me hurting her like that daily! Thank God I tested it! In the company's defense the bottle does have a warning on it to flush eyes out immediatly if it comes in contact with eyes. But it's for tear stains!! So the odds are pretty good that it will come in contact with your dogs eye!! Who would think that could be dangerous?? I have never left a bad review or returned an item since Amazon opened, but this product has changed that! If you do use this, PLEASE protect your dogs eyes!
