My fiancé and I bought this headboard after moving into our brand new apartment in Philadelphia. We installed the headboard ~ about a month after moving in. We did like the looks of the headboard, but after a few months noticed that we were starting to itch. We are both in the medical field and wrote off the itching as dry skin. However, one morning we noticed a bug on our headboard. Please see above pictures. We immediately called an exterminator who treated the apartment and only noticed them on the headboard. I urge caution when purchasing this product because it has been a nightmare trying to deal with the ramifications. Now Amazon did issue a full refund and were made aware of the issue. I tried to have them flag the item or remove it from Amazon Choice, however they instructed me to leave a review.
