This unit will turn off if the ambient temperature is above 90 degrees! Quoting from the trouble shooting section of the manual: "Issue: My air conditioner is not cooling at all" "Possible Cause: The ambient temperature is too high" "Solution: Lower the room temperature to be below 90°F degrees" If you live in a climate where it gets above 90°F DO NOT BUY THIS AC it will simply turn off.
