When I first received these doors and opened the box, I was very pleased. The doors looked great. But things would drastically change as I began my installation. I spent a couple weeks painting the doors and then I went to install them. When I tell you that every step of the installation was a challenge would be an understatement. Nothing worked right. The hardware pieces that come with these doors are so cheap you won’t find them locally. The way they go together requires three hands at times. After three hours of frustration the doors were finally in but crooked. I spent another two hours trying to get them straight with no luck. Something just wasn’t right and I couldn’t figure it out. As it turned out it was a combination of cheap hardware that when put together added up to disaster. I read through the reviews on the Amazon site and finally went and got some new pivot points. I learned a very important lesson – do NOT tap in spring loaded pivot points with a hammer. You will drive the pin right through the bottom of the plastic piece. These new pivot points did not help. So, I researched online and one thing I noticed through all the videos was how easy other doors were to remove and insert. These doors were impossible to remove and re-insert like the ones on the videos. I finally gave up; I went and bought a complete hardware kit with everything. What I was looking for was the most expensive hardware kit I could find. It was less than twenty dollars. You can find the kit right here on Amazon (https://amzn.to/2PrHYXg). With the doors out and all the original hardware removed, I started over with the new kit. It took me just 30 minutes to hang the doors and they were perfectly straight. 30 Minutes and they were perfect! The time I wasted and additional costs made these doors a bad purchase for me. That is why I only give them two stars. I was very unhappy through this entire experience. Things should not be this hard, and as I found out – they don’t have to be. One final warning – these doors are very soft wood as you can see in my photos. Be very careful with them.
