Save your money and sanity and go with another company!!! I was super excited about this product. It all sounded great on paper. But after only 5 days, the neoprene sleeve fell off on one side and exposed the chain underneath. I purchased this lock for a brand new, very expensive e-bike, so the neoprene sleeve was one of the main reasons I purchased it - to keep the bike from being scratched up. But I get it. Things happen. So I reached out to customer support. This is where things fell apart and why I will never purchase anything from this company ever again, and I hope that after reading this, you will save your time and money, and stay away from this company as well. I emailed customer service and got a quick response, apologizing, and saying they would take care of it, and they would be calling me the following day to work out the return. The next day came and went and so did the following day. I tried emailing customer service again, but this time, I didn’t get a response. I tried emailing again every day for 5 days after that, and didn’t hear anything back. I found another email address for the company and tried that one. They responded and apologized and said they would handle it. Right after that, the original email address responded back, saying that they called me (which they hadn’t), but that they would be calling me that day to work out the return. Well, once again no call came through and over the next few days, I emailed again several times and didn’t get any response. I then emailed the second address again and they told me that, even though they originally responded saying they would take care of it, they now think that since the main functionality of the lock was still working, they don’t think they should have to replace it. After telling them that was not an option, they said they would send me a return label to send it back in. Well guess what hasn’t show up.... This company is a scam. Their products look amazing, but just pray that you don’t have any issues, otherwise you’ll be screwed and left scratching your head wondering how a company that charges $100 for a bike lock and treats their customers like garbage, could still be around. Go with a better brand like the Kryptonite locks or something similar. Shame on you seatylock.
